What Daystack stores
Daystack is an offline weekly task planner. Task titles, assigned weekdays, order and completion state are stored in the app's private storage on your device. The app also keeps local UI state and widget scheduling metadata. No account is required.
Collection and advertising
Daystack does not send your tasks, usage analytics, advertising identifiers or device identifiers to wakubo. The app has no advertising, analytics or cloud-sync SDK and does not request Internet access. We do not sell task data or use it for advertising.
Optional home-screen widget
When you add the widget, Android and your current home-screen launcher display today's task titles and completion state on your home screen. People who can see your screen may see those tasks. To use the same fonts as the app, Daystack creates local rendered text images and grants the current launcher read-only access to those specific images. It does not grant access to the task database or arbitrary app files. The widget is optional; remove it through your launcher to stop displaying tasks.
Retention and deletion
Tasks remain on your device until you delete them or clear the app's storage. Deleting a task removes it from the planner. Rendered widget images can remain temporarily in private storage: images unused for seven days are removed during subsequent widget cache cleanup, and removing the last widget clears those images. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes the app's local data. Daystack does not provide a cloud account or cloud recovery. Android app-data backups are disabled by the app's configuration.
Permissions and background work
Android's background-work components refresh the widget after date/time changes and device restarts. Daystack does not read your calendar, contacts, location, microphone, photos or advertising ID. Its launcher lookup is used only to provide widget images to the active home-screen launcher.
External links and support
Opening the public privacy webpage uses your chosen browser. Emailing admin@wakubo.co.in uses your email app. Those services handle their own connections. If you choose to contact wakubo, we receive the information you include in your message and use it to respond; do not include private task content unless you want to share it for support.
Children
Daystack is a general-purpose productivity tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise use of a shared device. The Play listing's target-audience choices will be maintained by the publisher.
